When I have read this in the past I stop and "he justified." I just couldn't possibly fathom Christ glorifying me. But he does. When I looked up the definition of glorified it said two things, first, "represented in such a way as to appear more elevated or special." And second, "made glorious."
Now, of course I then looked up the definition of glorious which says, "having a striking beauty or splendor that evokes feelings of delighted admiration." Wow! Can you imagine this? Christ makes us to have "a striking beauty!"
Christ died for us, to redeem us, wash us clean. He could have stopped there, but he didn't. He didn't just wash us clean, but made us beautiful. Just because something is clean, doesn't mean it is also beautiful.
What's crazier is that we are glorified with Christ (Rom 8:17). I do not know what all this means, but I find myself in awe. In awe, that I can be called, justified, glorified with Christ and a co-heir with Christ.; I am significant to Christ,. I am a somebody...to Him and that's all that matters.
