"This is why I don't like coming to Unity Center," said a 6th grader to me yesterday. She was not happy with me because after telling her several times to get her homework out and her not doing it, I had to get firm. Of course, this began the struggle between her and I over homework. She got up from the table I was at trying to get away, but I wasn't going to just let her go. I kept on her and used the "rule of proximity" to try to motivate her to start her homework. However, nothing I was trying seemed to be working, so I prayed that God would help me. And help me he did. After I prayed she didn't start her homework immediately and she still gave me an attitude, but she eventually did her homework. AND, she even asked me a question about her homework! God answers prayer :) Comments are closed.

What I write AboutMy posts are all about the Christian walk in some way or another. I do my best to make what I post worth reading, thus there are many more things that I write about but do not post. Some of my posts are my reflections on scripture or a quote, other posts are simply my testimony, and others still are letters of encouragement. I hope that you will be encouraged or challenged in your walk with Christ as a result. God Bless you, my friend.
